Parents and guardians who have children attending St. Vital School are invited to contribute as members of our School Community Council (SCC) and are encouraged to participate in council activities. The SCC usually meet on a monthly basis. They are established to serve as a way for parents/guardians, administration and teachers to meet and work together towards common goals connected to academic achievement, faith, student wellness and family engagement.
There are different ways of getting involved with St. Vital's School Community Council:
- Sit on the executive or as a member at large.
- Attend meetings
- Volunteer for specific activities
- Connect with a member of the SCC or the principal to find more information
Elected Positions:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
Other Positions:
- Members at large
- Principal
- Teacher Representative
First meeting of the year will be in September as we start the new school year and have our AGM, dates to be determined.
Look for upcoming events on our Calendar, newsletter, Facebook and/or speak to your child's school principal to get involved.
